Paraplanner
Getting to Know Emilia
Emilia joined Armstrong, Fleming, & Moore, Inc., in March 2017 as a client service associate. In early 2019, she shifted into the paraplanner role, working directly with clients and supporting AFM’s principals, in addition to serving as intern coordinator. Prior to joining AFM, Emilia worked in the fields of medical billing, corporate accounts receivables, and nonprofit development, with a performing arts focus.
Emilia studied both psychology and music—with an emphasis on the harp—at Rice University, where she met her husband. Together, they lived in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado before coming to Washington, DC, in the fall of 2015. In October 2017, they were pleased to announce the arrival of their son, James. In her time outside of the office, she enjoys attending performances at the Kennedy Center, exploring the city on foot, and reading fiction novels gleaned from DC’s many used bookstores.
